The MdbK invites the artist group greater form to realise an expansive installation in the museum's atrium. The group greater form operates between art, activism and education. Their concern is the cultural participation of children and young people. Since 2015, they have been conducting artistic research with kids from the large housing estate Leipzig-Grünau, where social grievances are becoming denser. Together they create and stage situations such as booths, shelters and party settings as well as actions in public space.

In 2022, greater form asked itself the big question about the future. No wonder that in times like these, the desire for a nightmare predictor emerged, providing energy for countless aesthetic processes, conversations and images. Together they entered the absurd world of (night)dreams, confusing labyrinths and slimy, glittering stalactite caves inhabited by uncanny creatures. Here, personal and collective fears and crises could be confronted with the joy of experimentation and the expression of desire in exploding forms and colours. Over several months, group and individual works were created that are linked to a central collective work - the "Nightmare Predictor" that has become real. The finished art work can be discovered at the Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig until 27 November.

The exhibition in the form of an expansive multimedia installation was developed and curated together with the kids for the MdbK. It is accessible free of charge via the café area.
