In order to guarantee a visit to the museum under the currently applicable protection and hygiene measures, the number of visitors to the MdbK is limited. The online reservation of a time slot guarantees you a visit to the exhibition. At the same time, this allows you a relaxed visit with plenty of space to view the over 120 exhibits. The time slot reservation is free and only valid in combination with an admission ticket (10 €/p.p., reduced rate 5 €/p.p.). Your reservation can be activated for 30 minutes from the time of validity at the MdbK ticket office. You will then also receive your admission ticket(s) there.

Please come directly to the exhibition entrance after you have bought your ticket, otherwise your time slot ticket will expire. The tickets are also valid for all other special exhibitions and the permanent exhibition of the MdbK, which you are welcome to visit after the exhibition Caspar David Friedrich and the Düsseldorf Romanticists. The visiting time is not limited. Please wear a mouth-nose protection in the MdbK and observe the hygiene and safety instructions. Ideally, please bring the completed contact tracking form with you, just in case we will also have copies available for you at the box office. You can find the form here...
